Terms of Use

These terms cover the website, planning estimates, and shipments Move Cargo accepts.

Last updated 26 October 2026.

Agreement

The website is operated by Move Cargo Inc. By using the site, asking for a quote, or asking us to move freight, you agree to these terms. If you are asking on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business. Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].

Calgary – Red Deer – Edmonton corridor, plus Saskatchewan and Manitoba cities.

Estimates are not a final price

The quote tool produces a planning estimate from the cities, weight, size, and service you enter. It is a guide for dispatch. It is not a fixed price, not a promise that a truck is available, and not a contract of carriage. The price on the screen can change when dispatch reviews the lane, the freight, accessorial services such as a liftgate or a residential stop, and the time the freight will be ready.

When a shipment is accepted

A booking request is an offer. Move Cargo accepts a shipment only when dispatch confirms it. Until that confirmation, either you or Move Cargo may decline the load. After acceptance, the carriage is governed by these terms and by the bill of lading or confirmation dispatch issues for that shipment. If those documents conflict with this page on a point about the carriage, the bill of lading governs that shipment.

Your responsibilities

You must give accurate pickup and delivery addresses, a working phone number, the real weight and dimensions, and an honest description of the freight. You must have the freight ready in the pickup window you choose, and you must tell us before pickup if the goods are dangerous, oversized, or need special handling.

You must not tender goods that cannot legally move by road in Canada. That includes illegal goods and dangerous goods that have not been declared and documented as Canadian law requires. We may refuse a load, or stop a trip, if the freight does not match what you described.

Same-day service

Same-day coverage is for the cities listed on the site, subject to the cutoff time shown on the booking form and to whether a suitable vehicle is free. Weather, road closures, a missed cutoff, or freight that is not ready can move a pickup to the next day. Dispatch will tell you when that happens.

Price, tax, and payment

Confirmed prices and invoices are in Canadian dollars. GST is added unless the invoice says the price already includes it. An invoice is payable by the method and date printed on it. We may withhold a delivery, or decline further bookings, when an undisputed invoice is overdue, to the extent Canadian law allows.

Loss, damage, and delay

We are not liable for delay caused by weather, highway closures, incorrect addresses or weights, freight that is not ready, or any cause outside our reasonable control. We do not insure the full value of your goods unless we agree to that in writing before pickup. You should arrange your own cargo insurance for freight whose value matters to you.

If goods are lost or damaged during a shipment we have accepted, liability is limited to what the bill of lading and the Canadian laws that apply to that carriage require. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, missed sales, or business interruption.

Using the website

You may use the site to learn about our service, request a quote, track a shipment we gave you a number for, and pay an invoice. You may not attempt to break, overload, or scrape the site, or submit another person’s personal information without their authority. We may suspend a form or a page if it is being misused.

Intellectual property

The site design, text, and logos are owned by Move Cargo Inc or used with permission. You may not copy them for your own commercial site. City and vehicle photographs are credited in the footer where a third party holds the rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply. Disputes are to be brought in the courts of Alberta, unless a statute gives a particular carriage dispute a different forum.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. The version in force when dispatch confirms a shipment applies to that shipment. The contact email and address on this page are the ones saved in the site settings.

Reviews

From the Canadian cities we deliver to.

Calgary Alberta

Same-day hot shot north on Highway 2. The part was in Edmonton before close of business.

Edmonton Alberta

The pickup window was clear, and the pallet was in Calgary the same day.

Saskatoon Saskatchewan

Prairie freight from Alberta arrived on one truck, with no terminal handoff.

Regina Saskatchewan

The skids left on time, and the delivery address was right on the first stop.

Winnipeg Manitoba

A longer prairie lane, still a dedicated truck. Dispatch confirmed the cutoff before we booked.

Lethbridge Alberta

Southern Alberta to Calgary was simple to quote and easy to follow on tracking.
