Move Cargo Inc
How we handle personal information when you ask for a quote, send a message, or book a shipment.
Last updated 26 October 2026.
Move Cargo Inc arranges same-day freight in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. In this policy, “we” means Move Cargo Inc. You can reach the person responsible for our privacy practices at [email protected].
Calgary – Red Deer – Edmonton corridor, plus Saskatchewan and Manitoba cities.
We handle personal information under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) for commercial activity that crosses provincial borders. For our operations in Alberta we also follow Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Those laws give you a right to know what we hold about you, to ask for a correction, and to complain if you think we have handled it improperly.
We collect only what we need to answer you or to move a shipment:
We do not ask you to create a public account, and we do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
We use this information to prepare a planning estimate, to email you the quote or message you asked for, to let dispatch call you about that shipment, to book a pickup, to issue an invoice, and to keep the records Canadian tax and claims rules expect. We also use it to protect the site from abuse, such as repeated automated submissions.
Email we send about a quote, booking, or invoice you requested is a service message, not a promotion. Canada’s anti-spam law (CASL) still requires us to identify ourselves in those messages. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote. We will not send promotional email unless you have agreed to it separately.
When you submit a quote or a contact form, you consent to the collection and use described on this page for that request. You may withdraw consent by writing to [email protected]. If a shipment is already booked, we may need to keep and use the information required to finish the carriage, collect payment, and meet legal duties.
We share personal information with staff and contractors who need it to pick up, carry, or deliver the freight, with the email service you configure for the site, and with a payment provider when you pay an invoice. We may also disclose it when a statute, a court, or a dangerous-goods rule requires it. We do not sell personal information.
Shipment records are stored for this website. Email is sent through the mail server saved in our admin settings, which may be operated in Canada or in another country. If a provider is outside Canada, the information can be subject to the laws of that country. We limit access to people who need it for the purposes above, and we store mail passwords in encrypted form.
We keep quote, booking, and invoice records for as long as we need them to run the shipment and to meet tax and legal-claim requirements. In practice that is often six years for records that support a tax filing. Contact messages that never become a shipment are deleted or de-identified when we no longer need them to reply.
You may ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Write to [email protected] and include enough detail for us to find the quote or message. We will respond within the time the applicable law allows, and in any event within 45 days. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you before we release the record.
If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca. For a matter about our activities in Alberta, you may also contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta at oipc.ab.ca.
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. The email address and mailing details shown here are the ones saved in the site settings, so they stay current when those settings change.
From the Canadian cities we deliver to.
Same-day hot shot north on Highway 2. The part was in Edmonton before close of business.
The pickup window was clear, and the pallet was in Calgary the same day.
Prairie freight from Alberta arrived on one truck, with no terminal handoff.
The skids left on time, and the delivery address was right on the first stop.
A longer prairie lane, still a dedicated truck. Dispatch confirmed the cutoff before we booked.
Southern Alberta to Calgary was simple to quote and easy to follow on tracking.
